Alyssa is a GMP content manager. Prior to her work in marketing and content development, she spent a decade teaching college writing and received her PhD in transatlantic modernist literature, Irish lit, and language theory, using quantitative and digital humanities methods to study foreign language use in James Joyce’s Ulysses. Alyssa enjoys editing novels in her spare time and reading everything she can get her hands on, as long as there’s a dog or cat nearby.

Ben is GMP’s head of paid media. He’s worked in-house at venture-backed companies like vFairs, at elite agencies like Directive, and as a solo consultant – building and managing cross-channel strategies for big brands like Memorial Hermann Health System, Uber Freight, and Dave Ramsey. In a past life, Ben was a cowboy, but these days he mostly sticks to riding bikes.

She likes asking one more question, pulling one more thread, and figuring out what’s going on to turn good content into genuinely useful content. Outside of work, Kirsten is a mom, writer, rock hounder, and birder (she will interrupt any activity to point out a good bird).
